In 1998 Robb added "reinvention guru" to his list of accomplishments when he agreed to host a segment on HGTV's popular show, "Decorating Cents". By creating great home accessories and furnishings from other's castoffs he became known nationally as the man who sees the opportunity in everything. Looking for still more challenges, Robb capitalized on his work as a trend and marketing consultant, and took over the job of Vice President of Marketing for Midwest of Cannon Falls (one of His success there led him to home accessories wholesaler Square Nest. As General Manager/Designer/Re-Brand Specialist there, Robb turned their design look around and made the company into an in-demand entity. But, if you know Robb, you know that there are just too many ideas percolating in his brain and in 2002, he struck off on his own, cooking up ideas for products (he holds a U-S patent for a product due out in 2006), TV designer (style expert for CBS "The Early Show", designer on the Style network’s “Area” show and how-to-guy for "Inside Edition"), new businesses (the "Not So Secret Sale", joanandrobb.com, Great Estate Sale Company, Imperfect Partners, LLC.) and spokesperson and talent( Mall of America, Shop at Home ). In his spare time (really?), Robb loves to remodel and restore vintage homes, travel, works for favorite charities, and is writing books on both design and business. |
